Adding a Birdychat widget to Shopify

Follow these steps to add the widget to your site using the Widget Code.

Before you start

To find the embed code for the widget, log in to your Birdychat account.

If you have multiple widgets, choose the widget you want to install, click "Edit". In the opened editing section, you will find the code that needs to be inserted into the website.

1. Access your Shopify admin account. 

Click Online Store > Themes to access your website theme settings. 

Then click Customize.

2. From your website theme, click the three-dot icon > Edit code at the top left of your screen. You will be redirected to your website theme's code.

3. In the left panel, choose the theme.liquid file and scroll down the page to access the end of your code. 

Right above the closing , paste the Birdychat widget code.

Click Save.
